![]() ![]() Of course, committing a crime against a fellow guild member is a problem.īaurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. And paying the fine/serving time to clear that bounty is all you need to do to remedy the problem. Bad characters may have a higher disposition towards you while innocents and guards begin to dislike you, but that's nothing that Persuasion, bribes, Personality or a 3-second Charm spell can't get past.įighters' Guild and Mages' Guild will not let you join if you have a current bounty on your head, but that doesn't matter if you're already a member. Other than that, not much of a difference. And Infamy hinders the Knigts of the Nine quest/rewards, of course. Having a higher Infamy than Fame prevents healing at Chapels, but it grants you the use of an altar (Shrine of Sithis) with the same effects in the Vile Lair plugin (if you have that plugin installed). It's also gained by earning high bounties (which you can avoid). Infamy is gained through the Thieves' Guild and Dark Brotherhood questlines (can't be helped). Does that make her a saint? Tell that to every Bravil guard, the Redguard pirate at the Waterfront, Luckless Lucina, Erana, Gwinas, or any of the other innocents who are now dead because of her. My dedicated Dark Brotherhood's character has triple-digit Fame that is four or five times greater than her Infamy. But furthermore, it makes you a naughty person who gets caught way too often. ![]() But you can also have high fame and infamy at the same time, right? What does that make you? ![]()
